Law of Love

The first law and what I believe is the most important Law of Love. This law is the foundation to manifesting all the other universal laws with ease.

In the bible which I like to use as a reference it has the statement that God is, and that we should love one another as ourselves. The reason I bring this up is that it illustrates in my mind the most important universal law which many people forget.

These biblical passages express the heart and soul of all of God's laws and should guide all our actions and interaction with others.

Jesus defined this Law of love as being the most important passage in the New Testament. He expressed it another time in His famous "golden rule": "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the law and the prophets" (Matthew 7:12).

The apostle Paul repeated this principle when he wrote: "The entire law is summed up in a single command: Love your neighbor as yourself" (Galatians 5:14).

The Law of Love I believe is the cornerstone of life. The essence of this Law is to do to others what you would want them to do to you, and helping those in need, just as you would want them to help you in your need.

Putting this Law into action may entail helping others materially; showing encouragement, comfort or sympathy; going out of your way to assist another; or supporting each other morally, physically, or financially. This law is the building block of all things. It is the energy all around us and through us. It is not just some mushy feeling, that we use to show affection. It is pure energy, the actual foundation of all things. It is an energy substance that can not, not exist.

With the law of love you can never leave an experience permanently unless you live with love and acceptance. This is why many of us tend to keep repeating the same experiences over and over again. The physical appearance may change, but the experience stays the same until the day we stop judging.

Many times people take that judgment and turn it into a hate and begin fighting. This really holds the law back. Instead embrace the situation with love and see what it holds for you. Every time you embrace love healing will occur using that love.

The judgment we carry can be in any part of our lives. It could be about money, health, work, or even our different relationship issues. It really doesn't matter.

If you find your self living with the same issues, yet the situation is different you are still hanging on to the opposite. So it is up to you to decide if you want to leave a situation permanently.

You can never get rid of what you hate; you can only leave it or transform it through love. The use of this law ensures that you recognize the universal truth that everything comes from unity and there is no separation.

Life is filled with judgment and while a person is judging they can not be in total love. Resistance creates lost time, while acceptance creates new miracles.

If we use this Law, we can't face a needy situation without doing something about it. We must take action! Compassion must be put into action. That's the difference between pity and compassion: Pity just feels sorry; compassion is doing something about it.

There is one thing wrong, and it has to do with the way we relate to this law. How we believe we have to create things. What we want in life we see in terms of activity, or the doing.

But it is not a function of doing; it is a function of being, of simply showing up as who you are. It is the energy from which you are made, from which you come from, and where you are returning too.

The thing about this law is that you can't bring it about through your normal channels. You may have tried it -- looking for the right mate. Like going to all the parties, wishing "Is This The One!"

I'm sure you noticed that it didn't work, and that this law showed up when you were not looking, or better yet,when you were not expecting it.

Why is it that this law shows up like that? Why is it that this energy, has to sneak up on us in order for us to experience it?

This essence has been forgotten. In fact, the sadness is that we have forgotten how to be. We have only learned how to do, and that is why it comes hard for us.
