From the time we left our family's house I felt uncomfortable. My husband was driving. I was a helpless passenger and this registered more and more as we drove. As we changed lanes I fought the urge to grab at the door handle or the dash board. I was brimming with panic.

I looked at my husband and finally noticed that his eyes were droopy from being sleepy. I asked him if he was OK and he said yes. I asked if I could drive and he said "no".

I didn't push the issue because he's stubborn and I knew he would not entertain my panicked feelings about driving. I was also sleepy myself and not so sure if I needed to be driving either.

We hit a dark stretch of highway with almost no traffic and I focused on the little DVD player in my lap. Though still extremely uncomfortable, not watching the road made me feel a little better. I did, however, have the feeling that I was waiting for something to happen and, when it did, it wasn't going to be fun. All I could do was pass time and PRAY and, boy, did I pray.

I asked that the car be surrounded in protective light. That my husband receive guidance. That my children, him and me all be surrounded by light also.

I was still looking down into my lap when I felt that something was horribly wrong! I looked up and we were on the shoulder and there was a parked car directly in front of us! It's dark tail lights were all I saw and it looked like they were jumping out at me. We were about to hit!

I yelled and my husband grabbed the wheel and turned it back towards the road. I truly believe we missed the parked car by inches.

We were in a Pathfinder and all I could think was - we're gonna flip. Too fast, too fast...

The next thing I saw was the median rising up in front of us! He swerved to the right. We crossed two lanes again and the SUV spun so we landed on the same shoulder FACING the dark, parked car's HEAD LIGHTS.

We managed to avoid the few feet that the car took up and landed right in front of it! It was completely dark as we both stared at the car.

Another SUV pulled up beside us and I rolled down my window. I couldn't see the passenger. I said "we're OK". He simply said "*#$@ Man" and they drove away.

When we got to the nearest town and stopped at a store I hopped out to check on my children. I checked my son's neck. I was afraid it could have snapped. He was fine.

He was still asleep and unharmed. My 3 year old daughter was only slightly stunned and didn't ever say a thing about the experience.

My husband was actually offended that I was so shaken up and was pretty defensive about it. The fact is, though I was not in the driver's seat, I feel I was directed to use prayer to get us through.

I started praying for protection from the time we left. I feel that I drew a lot of attention from many protective beings with those prayers. I feel like hands were right on top of my husband's, guiding him as we swung us across the road and tried to keep the car from flipping or hitting anything.

My mother often talked of the inner voice. I have listened before but am guilty, as we all are, of not always accepting the message. I am grateful and try to stay more open for guidance now.

I have encountered my own experiences with angels and here is one of my favorite love story, I hope you enjoy my experiences with angels! I call it...

About a month before that Sunday, I was helping a friend prepare for her first workshop. She would write part of the workshop than call me to go over it. She was going to present it the following Tuesday and asked if I would sit in on her workshop to give her feed back on how to improve it.

Tuesday came and we met a little early to setup so that when people started to show up all she would have to do is introduce herself. I was sitting at the side of the room just observing everyone as they came in. Than it happened, the woman in blue that my angels told me to notice came in, but I didn’t remember her, I just knew she looked really familiar.

As I was sitting there, my angels were whispering, “She’s the one”, and showing me a picture of Sunday. I heard it over and over again, “Notice her!” Now I was really confused, because I really didn’t want anyone new in my life, as I was just to the point where I loved being a lone, I loved my own company, and I just wanted to focus on building my business. As a result, I asked my angels, “What am I suppose to do?” The soft whisper of my angels said, “You are ready! Relax and Enjoy!” I again forgot about her and started to listen to the presentation writing my comments as my friend was forging ahead with her workshop.

My friend had an exercise for the entire group. At that point, everything felt like a dream. It was as if my angels took charge, having complete control of my words and actions. I do remember moving across the room, grabbing this beautiful woman’s hand and saying, “Were you at Café Del Sol Sunday?” I don’t have a clue what I was doing or saying the entire time I was with her.

I felt strength that I have never experienced before, asking her to join a group of us that were going out to eat after the workshop. I do remember her taken back by my newfound courage because we were at a party four months earlier that I didn’t even talk to her at. All I knew was I liked it and knew that my angels were helping me out completely.

In fact, when I asked her to join us, she said “No I can’t!” And that soft whisper said, “She’ll be there, just remember to Relax and Enjoy!” I went to the restaurant meeting my friends. I just sat down and guess who walks in the door; you got it the beautiful woman I asked to join us, that said she couldn’t.

This is not the end as when she came to sit down she went to the opposite side of the table where I couldn’t see or talk with her. My angels again spoke a soft whisper saying, “She’ll come to you, just remember to Relax and Enjoy!”

At this point, I knew my angels were truly in charge, so I just Relaxed and Enjoyed the night. About a half hour into the night, here she comes and sits down by me and we talk until they ask us to leave.

Here we are about a year later. We moved in together, I asked her to marry me, and we are growing together, all with the guidance of my angels. So when I hear that soft whisper in my ear, I take notice, wondering what wonderful thing they are going to do next.
